The mural project explores the social impact of graphic design and street art in a multicultural environment. It interacts with us altering our perception of space. Walls and streets are bridges of communication. Unconsciously, we are permanently influenced, even when trying to avoid certain messages. Understanding the power of this tool, my goal is to educate social awareness through murals. I want to communicate a critical and responsible point of view about current social issues surrounding gender inequalities, intolerance, immigration... Girls 'n cans is an event that every year develop different projects to link arts and urban culture with the community. This year this project had place in a school were the topic was the Jungle. The main idea was to create a colorful and tropical enviroment for the kids that goes to this school, in order to make them familiarized with the natives and the animals that lives there, and the importance to preserve and respect the nature.
